The Hiroshima AI Assurance Council is an independent, industry-led council based in Hiroshima, Japan. It develops the Hiroshima AI Assurance Protocol (HAAP) through practical proof-of-concept projects and public technical materials.

What We Do

The Council incorporates tested requirements, verification methods, and assurance records into a shared HAAP framework for the formal adoption of AI-assisted decisions.

Test HAAP concepts and functional precursors in real workflows, and document exactly which functions were implemented, tested, and not covered.

Deepen HAAP
Incorporate tested requirements, verification methods, and assurance records into the shared framework.

Make the basis inspectable
Publish protocol materials, implementation scope, PoC results, and technical evidence for independent inspection.

The Council does not represent Hiroshima Prefecture, Hiroshima City, the G7, any government body, or the Hiroshima AI Process.

The Council does not provide legal certification, regulatory approval, compliance guarantees, or safety endorsements.

Participation does not require exclusive adoption of any single vendor, platform, or technology. The Council is not a sales channel for its representative or technical partner.
