The Hiroshima AI Assurance Council is an independent, industry-led initiative currently being established in Hiroshima, Japan. It develops HAAP through practical proof-of-concept projects and public technical materials.

Hiroshima is internationally associated with the Hiroshima AI Process. The Council operates independently and focuses on a practical question: how to translate trustworthy AI principles into conditions that can be verified before an AI-assisted decision is formally adopted.
The Council does not represent Hiroshima Prefecture, Hiroshima City, the G7, any government body, or the Hiroshima AI Process.
The Council does not provide legal certification, regulatory approval, compliance guarantees, or safety endorsements.
Participation does not require exclusive adoption of any single vendor, platform, or technology. The Council is not a sales channel for its representative or technical partner.
